Cedar Spring farms began in August of 1996, with the actualfirst seeds planted in October of 1997. We began with one greenhouseand have expanded over the years to an acre of greenhouse operation encompassing 10 separate bays of production and 10 acres of open growing fields.

 

As we begun our 28th year, the production is ever changing and our employee numbers continue to grow to now include 16 full-time employees. We are proud to continue our best practices that where established long ago in 1996 with the belief that produce grown and purchased closest to the source/farm is the very best way to maintain both food safety and quaility.The continued good health of our customers  ever remains paramount to provide safe vegetables and food production in our ever changing enviroment. We always strive to bring the very best quality in all of Cedar Spring products. Becuase we are commited to to raising awarness of localy grown produce. Cedar Spring continues to be sold at Farmers Markets, online markets, Restaurants and grocery dtores across the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Through the 10 acres of outdoor  growing spaces are very important. we are perhaps best known for for our greenhouse production where we grow year round vetetables including off-season vine-ripened tomatoes and baby salad mix that is nutritionally well balanced and pleasing to the eye.

 

Guy Gillespie has been our general manager at Cedar Spring farms for 7 years. He comes from 6 generations of farmers in Arizona and has brought much of his knowlege to Cedar Spring Farms.

 His work ethic and graet leadership have enabled the Farm buisness to flourish and expand from greenhouse production only to in-field production as well. Guy also brings knowedge in land management to the buisness annd helps maintain the surrounding natural landscape, with his hard working crew. He currently resides close to his work on the farm, where he loves fishing, being in nature, and playing with his new grandaughter in his free time.
